About

August Kiss Fegley is an AEA actor, playwright and designer. She has worked with Chautauqua Theatre Company, Syracuse Stage, The Tank NYC, and 59E59 Theaters, among others. She recently wrapped the pilot of a series created by Carlos Cardona (2022 Sundance Official Selection Director), and starred in the children’s touring production of The Girl Who Swallowed a Cactus.

Since moving to NYC, she has originated characters in 2 new plays - the first being a Lady Macbeth-meets-stipper combo in the titular role of Cherrybomb, which premiered in 938 Collective's 2023 Short Play Festival, and the second being school shooting survivor Taylor Kriss in The Bronze Boy, which brought home 5-Star reviews from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024.

With a passion for using performance as a platform for activism, August’s self-produced works intend to educate audiences as they entertain. She is influenced by stories that speak on mental health, substance use, sex positivity, and family dynamics.

August holds a BFA in Acting from Syracuse University’s Department of Drama and has studied under Moisés Kaufman with Tectonic Theatre Project’s Moment Work Institute (The Laramie Project).
